    McCulloch County Employment Opportunity

    Road and Bridge Department Superintendent

    The McCulloch County Road and Bridge Department is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Road Superintendent. This position is a full-time position under the direction of the Commissioners’ Court. Duties include but are not limited to: planning, participating, and supervising maintenance of county roads, cattle guards, drainage systems, brush and vegetation control, and managing employees. Must have the ability to perform basic mathematics to calculate materials needed to maintain the county roads and prepare a department budget annually. Prior experience with maintenance of Public Roads is preferred.

    Successful Applicant must be a qualified voter in McCulloch County according to the Texas Transportation Code 252.203 (c) at the time of appointment. 

    Salary Range: $ 64,000- $ 70,000. Base Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

    Job location: 199 Courthouse Square, Brady, Texas 76825 and County Precinct Barns

    Background check and References will be required

    Benefits include Retirement, Health and Dental Insurance, vacation and sick pay, Holiday pay, and Longevity Pay.
